Philosophy

“There is nothing the busy man is less busied with than living;there is nothing harder to learn.”

Have you ever met a philosopher in the real world? Neither have I.  This section of the site is less about navel gazing and more about the construction of a set of tools for use in the building &leading of a good life.

Thoughts about virtue &morality in the course of my life as a husband, father, friend, neighbour &entrepreneur are found in this category.

There are a few topics on my mind, constantly:

on it being like that

on a dad’s job

on bravery,service &a nation’s debt

on the good life

on the setting of goals

and,on Canadians being too polite (an open letter to Jenn Hiel)
