Last week I posted a note about ‘not being in your 99%’. Whether I agree or disagree with the #OWS movement wasn’t the point. Rather,it’s that they’re lumping me in with them,speaking for me,about me. Bullshit.
What I’ve in mind here is what was/is behind my irritation with the 99% conversation:identity. Your public self image will exist whether you participate in it or not. Define yourself before someone does it for you.
